ASWJ leader detained
[DAWN] RAWALPINDI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday detained Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat...which is the false nose and plastic mustache of the murderous bannedextremist group Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistain, whatcha might call the political wingof Lashkar-e-Jhangvi... (ASWJ) local leader Qari Imran Hazarvi and shifted him to the Adiala jail for 90 days. On the other hand, the Special Branch has provided a list of 30 active members of the banned ASWJ to the police to keep them under a strict watch. According to sources, Hazarvi, the Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Siddique Akbar, Mohra Chapper Chakri Road, was picked in the light of intelligence that the outfit might try to create law and order situation in retaliation to the killing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi ... a 'more violent' offshoot of Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistain.
