Dean slams GOP at San Diego rally (descends into Schizophrenia?)

Howard Dean held up a pen, attempting to find its owner, at the Labor Day rally held yesterday by Democrats at Mount Acadia Park in Clairemont. The onetime candidate for president was mobbed by autograph seekers near the end of the benefit for local candidates. Former presidential candidate Howard Dean energized a crowd of supporters yesterday when he stopped in San Diego to campaign for a slew of Democrats while taking shots at prominent Republicans. . . . . . Dean, who showed up at the rally about an hour late because of a flight delay, used his platform to slam Republicans. He said Vice President Dick Cheney "needs a brain transplant" and that Georgia Sen. Zell Miller, a Democrat who blasted presidential nominee John Kerry at the Republican National Convention, may be in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Aaaaaah Howie!
