Horror of Homs...
was killed Wednesday in a car kaboom in southern The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire....
, local officials said.

Jamil Raadoun died of his wounds in hospital after the boom-mobile detonated outside his home in the city of Antakya in the southern Hatay region, the region's governor Ercan Topaca told the state-run Anatolia news agency.

Raadoun, who had defected from the Syrian army, was leading a medium-sized non-Islamist rebel unit called the Suqur al-Ghab brigades that has been fighting in the Al-Ghab plain in northwestern Syria.

Topaca was quoted as saying by Anatolia that the attack could have been the result of a dispute between rival rebel groups.
