Two Egyptians injured in small bomb attacks in Alexandria
[AlAhram] Two people were maimed when a small bomb detonated in Alexandria on Tuesday night, with another small blast causing damages to a train.
The first blast took place in a shop at the Mahatat Misr train station and damaged the window of a train, an interior ministry official announced via Facebook.
The second small blast occurred in front of Bab Sharq cop shoppe and injured two civilians, the official added.
Small-scale attacks targetting state-owned buidings or cop shoppes have become commonplace in Egypt since the July 2013 ouster of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.
Last week two people were maimed when a small bomb went off near Cairo's Azbakeya cop shoppe. The blast damaged police vehicles parked outside the building.
A similar incident in September injured two coppers outside a foreign ministry building in the Giza district of Agouza.
