Egypt army shoots, injures 3 Palestinians in Gaza tunnel
[Ma'an] Egyptian army forces shot and injured three Paleostinians in a smuggling tunnel under the city of Rafah in southern Gazoo on Thursday.

Egyptian soldiers entered the tunnel under the border city and shot up Paleostinian workers, injuring three, locals said. The victims were taken to hospital for treatment.

Earlier this week, Egypt detained three Paleostinians after blowing up a tunnel under the shared border. The Paleostinians were initially reported missing after the kaboom.
Scroll down for the initial report, which included some interesting details.
Smuggling tunnels that pass beneath the Egyptian border have served as a lifeline to the outside world for Gazoo's 1.8 million inhabitants since Israel imposed a crippling siege on the coastal enclave in 2007, which is supported by Egypt. However,
women are made to be loved, not understood...
the tunnel networks are notoriously dangerous.

The Institute for Paleostine Studies reported in 2012 that Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, authorities had counted 160 deaths inside the tunnels since the Israeli blockade began in 2007, and in August 2014, Al-Jazeera
... an Arab news network headquartered in Qatar, notorious for carrying al-Qaeda press releases. The name means the Peninsula, as in the Arabian Peninsula. In recent years it has settled in to become slightly less biased than MSNBC, in about the same category as BBC or CBS...
reported that figure to be as high as 400.
There were a great many more tunnels dug in recent years, all with the insouciant Third World disregard for safety. The need for marble and brass fittings for the grand new shopping malls was very great, not to mention big screen tvs and iPads, and potato chips and cigarettes. Below are the key bits from the initial report:
[Ma'an] Egyptian border guards reportedly discovered and destroyed a large tunnel running from Gazoo's Rafah city into Egyptian territory, Egyptian security sources said.

Security sources said that several guns, military clothing and communication devices were found within the tunnel, which was loaded with explosives and destroyed shortly after discovery.

Sources added that a second tunnel was located under a house in Rafah City.

On Sunday, three Paleostinians from the Gazoo Strip were reported missing following a previous tunnel demolition, Gazoo's Civil Defense said.

While the southern tunnels are used by Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, as a source of tax revenue and inflow of weapons,
"We don't mention the tunnels into Israel until the next Fiendish Plot has commenced, you idiot! That's why I red pencil it every single time. I swear, if you weren't my mother's brother's unemployable, brain damaged son, I'd have fired you ten years ago."
they also supply highly-demanded necessities for Gazoo's residents under the blockade, including food, medicine, as well as infrastructure materials including concrete and fuel.
Most definitely including those things, if in smaller proportion of the whole than that sentence implies.
