French court Arabic interpreter charged with falsifying translations
Taqiyya at work?An Arabic language interpreter employed by the French courts has been placed under investigation for allegedly providing false translations in return for cash, officials said Thursday. The man, who also helped the police in interrogations and telephone taps, made some EUR 300,000 (USD 360,000) in fees over the last two years, and it was the tax authorities who raised the alert, the officials said.
