 has killed around 2,000 Death Eaters in recent operations inside and outside its borders and the operations will continue, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.
Given the speaker, it is my understanding that the true number may be an order of magnitude less, or 200.
"Now 2,000 faceless myrmidons have been killed inside and outside of the country," Erdogan said in comments broadcast by television station AHaber.

Turkey has carried out attacks on Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
 Death Eaters in Syria and also on Kurdish holy warrior positions at home and in northern Iraq.
...but almost entirely Kurds.
