Bomb injures two soldiers in southern Thailand
Two soldiers were wounded when a roadside bomb targeting a patrol providing protection for teachers exploded in Narathiwat province on Friday morning.
Six soldiers were traveling on three motorcycles in the patrol unit. As they passed the entrance of a deserted gas station in Sungai Kolok district, the bomb detonated. Police said the home-made bomb was planted in some shubbery and detonated remotely as they drove past the spot.
Officials blame insurgents.
