1 soldier dies in bombing in Taji
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry said Monday, that five elements of the army were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast that targeted their patrol north of Baghdad.The source said in interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, this morning, targeting an Iraqi army patrol as it passed in Taji north of Baghdad, killing one solider and wounding four other, in addition to causing material damage to the vehicle of the patrol.” The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead to the forensic medicine department.” Posted by: badanov 2015-11-17 |
