Burkina Faso rebounds from military plot to elect new President
[CNN] After nearly three decades of autocratic rule followed by a civil uprising, Burkina Faso...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other... has a new leader. Roch Marc Christian Kabore won more than 53% of votes in Sunday's elections, according to an official tally. The results mean Kabore, a former Prime Minister of the West African nation, will become its next President.
