40 Percent Of Terrorists Fighting ANSF Were Freed From Prison: Shahim
[Tolo News] Chief of Army Staff General Qadam Shah Shahim said at a Special Forces graduation in Kabul...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the Worldand didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... that 40 percent of Lions of Islam currently fighting against the ANSF were once inmates who have since been freed. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of 1,080 officers and soldiers from the Special Forces Special Operations Command in Resh Khor, Kabul, the general said that Afghanistan's armed forces have strong support of their government. "At the moment 40 percent of Lions of Islam who are fighting against us are those who have been released from our own prisons," said Shahim. "Those who have released these Lions of Islam from our prisons must apologize to the nation," he added. "When the Lions of Islam kill our children and women we never get rest. But we continue our operations to defeat the terrorists," said Bismillah Waziri, an Army Special Operations Commander. "We special forces promise the people of Afghanistan we will defend the country, property and honor with our blood - as our fathers defended the country," said Abdul Rahim a military intelligence officer.
