CTD arrests 4 terrorists

The CTD officials conducted a raid near Valika Chowrangi in SITE area and arrested four suspects. The suspects were identified as Imran alias Ustad, Raheem alias Pehlwan, Taj and Raaz alias Omar. CTD in-charge Mazhar Mashwani said that the suspects belonged to Tehrik-e-Taliban Afghanistan and two of their companions were killed in Afghanistan and one in encounter with police in Punjab. Four pistols were also recovered from their possession. Separately, Rangers conducted a targeted raid in Bheempura, Old City area and arrested three suspects including a terrorist of a banned outfit while weapons were also recovered from their possession. Similarly, a notorious hit man affiliated with a political party was arrested during a Rangers' intelligence driven surgical action in Babar Market in Landhi.
