Turkey detains 8 Daesh members on border with Syria
[AA.TR] ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... detained eight Daesh [Islamic State] members in southern Kilis province, the Turkish military said Saturday. The group, including three children, were held by border troops on Friday in Elbeyli town of Kilis as they were attempting to cross illegally into Turkey from Syria, Turkish General Staff said in a statement on its official website.
