Security forces kill 30 militants in Anbar
(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The Rapid Intervention Forces announced on Friday the killing of 30 “militants” and the dismantling of dozens of improvised explosive devices during the ongoing military operations in Anbar province.Maj. Gen. Thamer Mohammed Ismail said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “Troops belonging to his division were able to detonate 43 explosive devices and eight barrels containing ammonium nitrate in Husaybah al-Sharqiya east of Ramadi.” He added, “Members of our group were able to dismantle 16 explosive devices and six barrels,” noting that, “The Rockets Division bombed 13 ISIS hideouts and killed 20 terrorists, while the Snipers Division managed to kill ten terrorists in the same area.” Posted by: badanov 2015-12-06 |
