Dagestan Clash
More than 100 federal and regional police searched forests in Dagestan on Monday following a gun battle that killed seven people. A police patrol near the village of Talgi, about 10 kilometers southeast of Makhachkala, encountered the armed men in a tent Sunday and a firefight ensued.
