Iraqi militia rescue 6 near Haditha
(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The leader of Albu Nimir tribe in Anbar province, Naeem al-Kawood, announced Thursday lifting the siege on six people that were held by ISIS as captives north of Bruwana in the district of Haditha.Kawood said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a force from the fighters of Albu Nimir tribe had carried out a tactical operation in which the tribal fighters had managed to lift the siege on six people that were held by ISIS in the area of Abu Dlaya (45 km north of Bruwana) belonging to the district of Haditha (160 km west of Ramadi).” The statement added, “The tribal fighters of Albu Nimir clan were able to destroy a bulldozer and a truck for ISIS in the same area during the operation,” pointing out that, “The force managed to secure the arrival of people to the area of Bruwana in Haditha District.” Posted by: badanov 2015-12-12 |
