Washington Post: 'Hands Up, Don't Shoot' One of Biggest Lies of 2015
[MEDIAITE] Washington Post Fact Checker Glenn Kessler released his annual list of the biggest whoppers of the year, including the contention that Michael Brown was surrendering with his hands up when he was killed by a Ferguson police officer."This phrase became a rallying cry for protests after the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white police officer, Darren Wilson," Kessler writes. "Witness accounts spread after the shooting that Brown had his hands raised in surrender, mouthing the words 'Don't shoot' as his last words before being shot execution-style.
