19 Talibunnies have a Very Bad Day in Ghazni province
 Security forces have killed over a dozen of Taliban fighters in an ambush in Ab Band District of southern Ghazni province.Mohammad Ali Ahmadi, Deputy Governor of Ghazni province says 19 Taliban fighters armed with heavy and light weapons planned to go to Qara Bagh District for attacks. He said police and army forces had established an ambush for them in Spin Band area last night. Security forces opened fire at them as they arrived, Ahmadi said, adding that all 19 militants including their two local commanders were killed during the short gun battle. According to Ahmadi, security force seized several different types of weapons from the militants including two Dushka (DSHK) heavy machineguns.
