ISIS executes 11 of its own militants
[ARA News] QAMISHLI – The militant group of Islamic State (ISIS) has executed one of its own officers and ten of his escorts in Iraq’s northwestern city of Mosul in Nineveh province on charges of “treason”, local sources reported on Wednesday.Sadoun al-Luhaibi (aka Abu Hafsa) was arrested along with ten of his personal escorts on Tuesday. They were subsequently executed by the group on charges of communicating with the anti-ISIS Kurdish Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq. Abu Hafsa, who served as administrator of al-Hadr district in Nineveh province under ISIS leadership, was accused of “treason” for leaking information to “hostile troops”, according to a statement by the ISIS-led Sharia Court in Mosul. Iraqi police officer Muhammad Jabouri told reporters in Nineveh that Abu Hafsa was replaced with Abu Bakr al-Dayyah, a Syrian member of ISIS, to lead al-Hadr district on behalf of the radical group.
