Militants attack Kurd positions in Erbil
(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – According to a security source in the province of Erbil, an armed group shot the political bureau of Kurdistan Islamic Union in Erbil, noting that the authorities began an investigation to determine the causes of the incident.The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews, “Unidentified militants opened fire, last night, at the political bureau of Kurdistan Islamic Union in Erbil,” while pointed out, “The attackers used machine guns.” The source, who asked not to be identified, added, “The attack did not result in any casualties,” indicating that, “The security forces arrived in the area of the incident and opened an investigation to determine the causes”.
