Suspect with bombs and ISIS flags arrested in Kirkuk

He said that in the initial interrogations the suspect, who is reportedly of Arab origin and lives in Kirkuk's Dubz district, has confessed his affiliation to the radical group. He was identified as Qamar Hillal Mahmud. "Our forces arrested Qamar Hillal Mahmud at 3 pm in Dubz district, north of Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... " said Farhad Hama Ali, the front man for Kirkuk's security forces. Kirkuk security forces said they had prior intelligence on the suspect before arresting him at his home. "He has confessed his membership in Daesh [Islamic State] (ISIS) and that he has participated in violence perpetrated by the group," Ali added.
