Two militants killed, five injured in Kurram checkpost attack
[DAWN] HAWAR: At least two suspected gunnies were killed and five others injured as security forces repulsed a myrmidon attack carried out in Kurram tribal region from across the border in Afghanistan on Saturday, security sources said.Security sources said Afghanistan-based gunnies attacked on a Pak security checkpost in  Kurram Agency...home of an intricately interconnected web of poverty, ignorance, and religious fanaticism, where the laws of cause and effect are assumed to be suspended, conveniently located adjacent to Tora Bora... . The gunnies who were armed with sophisticated weapons opened fire on the checkpost, they said. The security forces responded to the attack with retaliatory firing killing at least two attackers and injuring five.
