US war birds hit ISIS convoy in Hasakah
[ARA] HASAKAH – Warplanes of the U.S.-led coalition bombed on Sunday a convoy for the radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah, military sources reported. An ISIS convoy, consisting of four vehicles, were heading towards headquarters of the Kurdish forces near Mount Abdulaziz in Hasakah, before being hit with an airstrike by the western coalition. “The radical group was preparing to launch car bomb attacks on our security headquarters in Mount Abdulaziz, but the cars were hit by a U.S.-led strike before reaching their targets,” a spokesman for the Kurdish forces of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) told ARA News in Hasakah. The source confirmed the death of the entire crew of the ISIS convoy. “There is a high level of coordination between our leadership and the U.S.-led coalition,” he concluded.
