Saudi Arabia reopens Baghdad embassy
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] After a 25-year hiatus Soddy Arabia...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... reopened its embassy in Baghdad on Friday, giving way to more cooperation between the two countries on tackling terrorism, Al Arabiya News Channel reported. The embassy was shut down in 1990 after the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Its reopening will allow the two countries to cooperate on security and the fight against extremism, the new Saudi ambassador to Iraq, Thamer al-Sabhan, told Al Arabiya. A thaw in the once chilly relations between Saudi Arabia and Iraq could help strengthen a regional alliance against Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference.
