Kabul Jolted By Yet Another Blast
Kabul city was rocked by yet another blast on Tuesday night, the third in two days.The incident occurred at 9.15pm local time in the area of 11th Street, Wazir Akbar Kahn – in the diplomatic quarter of the city. No casualties were reported. This comes after two suicide bombings occurred on Monday in the city. Both of these incidents were close to the Hamid Karzai International Airport. Monday morning's explosion happened when a suicide bomber detonated his vest at a police checkpoint. No casualties were reported. The second blast occurred on Monday night, which caused extensive damage in the Hawa Shinasi area near the airport. Two people were confirmed killed and 36 wounded.
