KDF convoy targeted in IED blast near Afmadow
Kenyan military convoy has been targeted in huge land-mine blast near Afmadow town of Lower Jubba region on Wednesday morning, according to a resident. The resident told Radio Shabelle that the landmine exploded near Tabta village as Kenyan defense forces (KDF) convoy passed the area on their to Qoqani town.The resident could not however confirm the extent of casualties suffered by the KDF by the time of going to press. Reports said one vehicle was damaged in IED explosion. No group has yet claimed responsibility of the attack on KDF army convoy in southern Somalia. Posted by: Steve White 2016-01-07 |
