Qamrul: Jamaat to be banned in 2016
[Dhaka Tribune] ood Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam has said Jamaat-e-Islami will be banned in 2016 through legal means.The minister made the statement while addressing an anti-hartal rally in front of the National Press Club in the city on Thursday afternoon. "The topic of banning Jamaat has come under discussion. I would like to tell clearly that it is only a matter of time to ban this party. There is no doubt that it will be banned within this year," BSS quoted Qamrul as saying. "We believe their financing source would be plugged.
