Yemeni Army Fights off Infiltration Attempts in Jizan
Yemeni army and the Popular Committees fought off attacks by militants loyal to the Soddy forces in Sirwah district in the eastern province of Marib, compounding losses for the attacking units.Moreover, the national military managed to liberate a number of hills towards the Al-Dimna military site east of Kovel camp. Battles in Marib province are witnessing a major shift as the army and Committees managed to change the confrontation strategy from defense to attack. On the border with Saudi Arabia, Yemeni sources reported that an attempt by the Saudi army and forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen to advance towards Alramadh area in Jizan has been defeated. Saudi Abrams tank and Bradley vehicle have been destroyed by guided missiles in Jizan. Saudi-led coalition fighter jets committed a massacre in Taiz, killing six students and a woman, and wounding eight others in targeting the Al-Harir area. Fourteen other civilians, mostly women and children, were also killed when military drones of the Saudi-US aggression bombed Baqim Directorate in Saada province north of Yemen.
