ISIS executes civilian for evacuating families from Heet

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday, a security source in Anbar Province announced, that the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has executed a civilian for evacuating a number of families from Heet District west of Ramadi.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has executed a civilian by firing squad in public in al-Mohamadi area in Heet District (70 km west of Ramadi).”

The source added, “The civilian was executed for evacuating the families that were besieged by ISIS in Heet District.”

Suicide bombing wounds 7 police elements west of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Saturday, a security source in Anbar province said, that 7 elements of the police were wounded in a suicide bombing that targeted them west of Ramadi.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a suicide bomber driving a Hummer vehicle detonated himself against the headquarters of the police in the area of the 70th Kilometer on the international highway west of Ramadi, resulting in the injury of seven elements of the police, in addition to causing material damage to the building.”

“A security force cordoned off the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a medical center for treatment,” the source added.

34 civilians besieged by ISIS evacuated north of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday, a security source in Anbar Province announced, that a security force has evacuated 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) north of Ramadi.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from Jazeera and Badiya Operations Command backed by the security forces managed to evacuate 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by ISIS in the Modern Village area north of Ramadi.”

The source added, “The security forces transferred the evacuated civilians to al-Wafaa area (35 km west of Ramadi).”
