Indonesian troops shot dead 11 rebels in Aceh
 Indonesian troops shot dead 11 separatist rebels in the restive province of Aceh in a single day, a military spokesman said Sunday. Six rebels of the separatist Free Aceh Movement (GAM) were killed in three separate clashes in North Aceh district on Saturday. Soldiers also seized three automatic rifles, ammunition and one grenade, he said. Five other rebels were killed in three separate clashes in Aceh Jaya district he said, adding that troops also seized four automatic rifles and ammunition.
