(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Wednesday, that a civilian was killed in a militant attack that took place in al-Talebiyah area in eastern Baghdad.The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Unidentified militants opened fire against a civilian that was driving his personal vehicle in the area of al-Talebiyah in eastern Baghdad, resulting in his immediate death.” The source, who requested anonymity, added, “A security force arrived in the area of the incident and transferred the dead to the forensic medicine department, while opened an investigation into the incident.” Army forces repel 2 attacks by ISIS on Thurthar and Saqalawiya (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Wednesday, that the Iraqi security forces had managed to repel two attacks by ISIS on the areas of al-Thurthar and Saqalawiya, while pointed out to the killing of 49 “terrorists” and the seizure of their weaponry and heavy equipment.
