NDS seizes arms cache of Taliban in Maidan Wardak
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency has seized an arms cache of Taliban militants in Jalriz District of central Maidan Wardak province.A statement released by NDS on Wednesday states that explosive materials and rounds of different types of heavy and light weapons were hidden in the cache. “Terrorists planned to target vehicles with these materials on Kabul-Ghazni highway but luckily the cache was seized and several terrorist activities prevented,” the statement adds.
