22 PKK terrorists killed in southeast Turkey
Turkish security forces killed 22 PKK members Saturday counter-terrorism operations in the country’s southeast, the military said Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported.In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said seventeen were killed in Cizre, Sirnak province, and five in Sur, Diyarbakir province. The two districts are among the towns that have been under military curfew for more than a month. The statement said around 500 PKK terrorists had been “neutralized” in Cizre and 149 in Sur since early December.
