Kurds dismantle ISIS cells in Erbil
(IraqiNews.com) Kurdistan – Kurdistan Security Council announced on Monday the arrest of a cell belonging to ISIS in Erbil, while noted that the cell was planning to carry out a terrorist operation in the province.The council said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Anti-Terrorism forces arrested a terrorist cell belonging to ISIS in Erbil,” pointing out that, “The cell consists of three persons from the residents of Diyali, who were carrying weapons and explosives.” The statement added, “The cell was planning to carry out a terrorist operation in Erbil.” Posted by: badanov 2016-02-09 |
