Turkey closes checkpoint on Syrian border near Kobane
Turkey has shut down the Sanliurfa checkpoint on the border with Syria, Turkish IHA news agency reported Feb.18. Previously, humanitarian aid was delivered to Syria’s Kobani city densely populated by Kurds through this checkpoint.No information was provided about the date of reopening the Sanliurfa checkpoint which has been closed for security reasons.
