Daesh leader arrested in Ghor

Spokesperson for Ghor Governor did not name the arrested terrorist while talking to Azadi Radio but said he was heading Daesh [Islamic State] group in this province. Ahmad Mahmodi added that the terrorist is from Murghab District of neighboring Badghis province but he was arrested from Firozkoh, the quiet provincial capital of Ghor province. He was leading Taliban in northern part of Ghor but later joined Daesh [Islamic State], Mahmodi said. Before the emergence of Daesh [Islamic State] about 16 months before, the hotspot of holy warriors was southern part of the country but now they are apparently trying to establish its roots in western and northern parts of the country as well more likely to spill over to other countries.
