Two women killed during clash with Abu Sayyaf
[Inquirer] Two women were killed when Philippine security forces and Abu Sayyaf militants clashed in Lamitan City early Monday morning. Basilan police said soldiers were responding to a report about the presence of armed men in Barangay Bohe-Ibo when the rebels opened fire. Maj. Gen. Demy Tejares said the target of the operation was Abu Sayyaf militant Nurhassan Lahaman.
