40 detained in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar police on Thursday claimed to have apprehended 40 suspects including 11 Afghans and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession during search operations in different areas.The police carried out door-to-door search operations in Hayatabad and Nasir Bhag areas and arrested the suspects. The police also claimed to have recovered 24 unregistered motorcycles, two pistols, a cache of bullets and drugs from suspects’ possession. Police also claimed to have arrested two alleged smugglers.
