Voting ends at Iran’s elections
Voting has ended at the parliamentary and the Assembly of Experts elections in Iran.
The mad ayatollahs, of course, know the outcome already... | Iranians started voting to elect 290 members of the parliament and 88 members of the Assembly of Experts at 08:00 Feb. 26.
Some 4,844 candidates were running for the seats at the parliament and the Assembly of Experts. Each candidate is required to get at least 25 percent of votes in his constituency, otherwise a second round of elections is held a month after the results of the first round.
