Security forces take al-Araneb, al-Tharthar Lake(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The official journalists with the Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday, that the security forces raised the Iraqi flag over the banks of al-Tharthar Lake and liberated Um al-Araneb village in al-Jazeera Operations axis, while pointed out that the security forces reached Um al-Asafeer area west of Samarra. The official journalists said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “al-Jazeera maghaweer brigade and the Rapid Intervention Force, backed by the Federal Police forces managed to raise the Iraqi flag over the banks of al-Tharthar Lake and liberated Um al-Araneb village.” The statement added, “The security forces also carried out an operation and were able to cut the supply of ISIS terrorist gangs,” pointing out that, “The Federal Police 5th brigade and al-Hashd al-Shaabi reached Um al-Asafeer area in the middle axis west of Samarra.” Iraqi forces take 5 more villages (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The official journalists with the Ministry of Defense revealed on Thursday, that the security forces managed to liberate five villages from the ISIS control in the northern axis of Salahuddin Province.
