Iraqi kops seize 46 IEDs in Kirkuk
(IraqiNews.com) Kirkik – The directorate of combat against crime in Kirkuk announced on Sunday, that the security forces found 46 explosive and adhesive devices ready to target the civilians and security forces in southern Kirkuk.Kirkuk Police Chief Colonel Radwan Shakor said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “13 improvised explosive devices, 33 adhesive devices and 20 batteries were found near Daquq water project,” pointing out that, “These improvised explosive devices were ready to target the innocent civilians and security forces.” Shakor added, “The security force transferred the improvised explosive devices to another site in order to detonate them.” Posted by: badanov 2016-03-07 |
