Residences in Diyala hit by mortar fire
(IraqiNews.com) A local source in Diyali province said on Sunday, that two mortar shells fell on a residential block northeast of Baqubah.The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “In the late hours of yesterday, two mortar shells fell on the neighborhood of al-Mu’almin in central Maqdadiyah (35 km northeast of Baqubah), resulting in material damages without any casualties.” “The nieghborhood of al-Mu’almin has been exposed to shelling during the past three days,” the source added. Iraqi militia man dies in armed attacks (IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A local source in Diyala Province announced on Sunday, that one of al-Hashd al-Shaabi members was killed during an armed attack northwest of Baquba.
