ASI shot dead in Pishin
QUETTA: A police officer was gunned down in Pishin and a barber lost his life in Chagai while resisting robbers on Saturday, police said.Assistant Sub-Inspector Ali Ahmed was on duty at a checkpost when men on a motorcycle opened fire at him. The officer was taken to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. In Chagai, two men entered a barber’s shop and asked Intizar Hussain, the barber, to hand over cash and mobile phone. Intizar offered resistance and was shot dead by the robbers who decamped with the loot.
