Three Israelis wounded in two attacks
[Ynet] Man lightly maimed in Jerusalem knife attack; attacker flees but is caught; hours later, two soldiers maimed when bullets are fired from inside passing car.Two IDF soldiers were lightly maimed on Friday evening when shots were fired from a passing car near a checkpoint in the Beit Horon area. The car was apparently going in the direction of Beitunia, and police began searching that area. Hours earlier, a 29-year-old Jewish man was stabbed in his upper body on Hebron Road in Jerusalem's Old City, not far from the Dung Gate. The stabber, a 19-year-old man from the West Bank, managed to escape, but was found hiding in one of the nearby alleys shortly thereafter by police and Border Police with the help of the police's Mabat 2000 unit, which has security cameras all over the city. The victim, a yeshiva student who was moderately maimed, was evacuated to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem after his condition was stablized and was updated to light.
