19 Taliban insurgents killed in separate clashes in Helmand
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 19 Taliban holy warriors were killed in separate festivities in the restive Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
province in southern Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at least 10 holy warriors were killed in an operation in Greshk district which was conducted with the support of the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces.

MoD further added that 9 turbans were killed in a separate operation in Khanshin district during an operation which was launched in response to Taliban fire on Afghan army.

At least 11 Taliban holy warriors were also maimed during the same operation, MoD said, adding that the security personnel and local residents did not suffer any casualties.

The Talibs group has not commented regarding the report so far.

Helmand is among the volatile provinces in southern Afghanistan where anti-government armed turbans are openly operating in its various districts and frequently carry out insurgency activities.

The Afghan armed forces were forced to a tactical retreat from certain posts in the volatile districts of Helmand recently, a move that the defense officials said was aimed at bolstering the security of central military bases.

Meanwhile,
...back at the comedy club, Boogie sadly admitted that he was a better peeping Tom than he was a comedian...
the Talibs launched a coordinated attack on a number of governmental compounds in Greshk district on Wednesday which lasted until early Friday before all 10 jacket wallahs were rubbed out by the security personnel.
