Three wanted Abu Sayyaf militants nabbed
[Zamboanga Today] Philippine security forces nabbed three Abu Sayyaf militants suspected in an ambush that killed two military intelligence agents earlier this week in a joint operations in Patikul town in Sulu.Brig. Gen. Alan Arrojado identified the three rebels as Jemar Asgari, Alden Asmad, and Dems Abtal. He said, "The suspects were riding a motorcycle in Barangay Bangkal around 11:40 a.m. when a joint military and police team led by Major Ibni Saddama noticed they had guns tucked in their waists." Arrojado said the suspects were chased by the joint security forces until they were cornered and apprehended. He said the three were responsible for the deaths of the two intelligence operatives on March 15, and were also involved in the killing of police personnel at the Jolo airport.
