3 die in bomb attack

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, that ten people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast in northern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, this morning, in al-Falahat area in Tarmiyah District in northern Baghdad, killing three people and wounding seven others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while carried out a raid to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”

Bomb wounds 6 Iraqi militia

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, a police source announced, that 6 members of al-Hashd al-Shaabi were wounded in a bomb blast targeted their patrol in southern Baghdad.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Today, an explosive improvised device emplaced on the road side in al-Rasheed area in southern Baghdad, exploded on a patrol belonging to a-Hashd al-Shaabi,” pointing out that, “Six members of al-Hashd al-Shaabi were wounded in the explosion.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “A security force arrived in the incident area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital.”

Bad Guys rob residence of jewels, gold

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police revealed on Tuesday, that a group of gunmen stole 50 million dinars and gold jewelry after storming a houses in western Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, unidentified gunmen stormed a house in al-Khadra neighborhood in western Baghdad, and stole 50 million dinars and gold jewelry then escaped to an unidentified destination.”

The source added, “A security force cordoned off the house and carried out a raid to search for the gunmen.”

Home invasion nets robbers cash

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A police source revealed on Tuesday, that a group of unidentified gunmen stole 100 million dinars after attacking a house in eastern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A group of unidentified gunmen stormed a house in Hayy Ur neighborhood in eastern Baghdad, at noon today, and stole 100 million dinars then escaped to an unknown destination.”

“A security force cordoned off the area and started to search for the gunmen,” the source added.

2 die in bomb attack

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday, that eight people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast in eastern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, a bomb exploded near shops in Nairiyah area in eastern Baghdad, killing two people and wounding six others.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while carried out a raid to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
