Central agencies warn of terror attack in Delhi

and Assam police about a former Pakistain army soldier entering India through Punjab with six holy warriors last month, and a possible attempt by them to carry out terror attacks in hotels and hospitals in New Delhi during Holi.

According to the alert issued by central security agencies, Mohammad Khurshid Alam alias Jahangir, an ex-Pakistain army employee, worked as a recruiter, coordinator and guide of jihadi elements in Assam.

The input said Alam had slipped into India from Pakistain through the border at Pathankot on February 26, accompanied by six hardcore terrorists.

"The intention of this group is to kill citizens in Delhi in hotels and hospitals on or before Holi," the alert said.
