Ninevah: Iraqi forces liberate 8 villages
(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – The commander of Nineveh Liberation Operations Maj. Gen. Najm al-Din al-Jubouri announced on Thursday the liberation of eight villages in the vicinity of Qayyarah south of Mosul, while emphasized that the military operations were conducted based on an accurate plan.

Jubouri said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi Army and tribal fighters managed to liberate eight villages in the vicinity of Qayyarah south of Mosul, during the ongoing military operations in Makhmur.”

Jubouri added, “The liberated villages are al-Matantar, Tel Chair, Karamradi, Nasral, al-Khatab, Kodella, al-Salahiya and al-Ndra,” pointing out that, “The military operations were conducted based on an accurate plan to liberate the city of Mosul.”

Earlier today, a security source announced, that the joint security forces crossed from Makhmour District to Qayyarah south of Mosul using floating bridge on Tigris River, while emphasized that the artillery of the US Marines shelled ISIS headquarters near Qayyarah.

15 ISIS Bad Guys die

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Province announced on Thursday, that 15 ISIS members were killed in a security operation targeted the post office building in Qayyarah south of Mosul, while pointed out that the military troops are preparing to liberate a number of villages in the district.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “The joint forces killed 15 ISIS fighters during a security operation targeted the post office building in Qayyarah,” pointing out that, “The post office headquarters was controlled by ISIS members.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The security forces are preparing to liberate the villages of al-Mahnanh and Sultan Abdullah east of Qayyarah, after liberating eight villages south of Mosul.”
