Turkish dies in ISIS rocket artillery attack
(IraqiNews.com) The Turkish military announced on Saturday the killing of one of its soldiers and wounding another in a rocket attack by ISIS north of Iraq.The Turkish military said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, ISIS targeted a base belonging to the Turkish army in northern Iraq by a rocket attack, killing one soldier and wounding another,” pointing out that, “[The military] had responded by targeting the [ISIS] sites which were specified in the region,” and adding that, “The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital in the province of Şırnak southeast Turkey.” Posted by: badanov 2016-03-27 |
